The short version. This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. If you ask for the free chapter, we keep your email address to send it to you, and nothing else about you. Unsubscribing deletes your address.

What we collect, and why
When you visit, we count page views in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you. Our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don't store IP addresses ourselves.
When you ask for the free chapter, we keep your email address, the choices you made on the form, and when you signed up and confirmed. We use them to send you the chapter and, only if you ticked the optional box, to tell you about new KeyWise books a few times a year at most. A bot-protection check runs when you use the form, and only then. Our emails contain no open or click tracking.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes your data for us
Cloudflare hosts the site and the signup list and provides the bot check. Microsoft delivers our emails. Both act only on our instructions. Both are US-based companies, so any transfer outside the EU relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell or share your address with anyone else.
How long we keep it
If you never confirm your address, it is deleted automatically after 30 days. If you confirm, we keep it until you unsubscribe, and unsubscribing deletes it.

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to [email protected]. If you think we've mishandled your data, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above. We won't use your address for anything new without asking you first.
